The development offer 128 studios over 7 floors with ground floor facilities including common rooms, cycle store and launderette facilities.

Cordwell commissioned Corstophine & Wright Architects to design the transformation of the former Assay Office Site.

Printworks

Manchester

Cordwell conceptualised, introduced and negotiated the purchase of this multi leisure scheme to Richardson Developments who undertook this Major City Centre urban regeneration scheme of the former Daily Mirror Printing Factory. It comprises of 395,000 sq.ft leisure, plus a new bus terminal and car parking.

Occupiers include: IMAX Cinema, UGI Cinema, Hard Rock Cafe, Tiger Tiger, Holmes Place, Wagamamas, Waxy O'Connors, and Henry J Beans

 

 

 

Broad Street Tower

Birmingham

 

Cordwell in association with Richardson Developments has received planning consent to redevelop this £150 million mixed use tower on a 1.5 acre site in the heart of Birmingham's Westside Convention Quarter.

The new tower will include 20,000 sq.ft of retail and leisure units, a 190 bedroom hotel and 344 city living apartments with parking for 294 vehicles.

The podium will have its own rooftop garden and is designed to provide a private amenity area sperate from the public realm of Broad Street.

Pond Street

Sheffield


 

Cordwell acquired this prominent site on Arundel Gate opposite the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield City Centre. The complex housed a derelict nightclub, formerly known as the 'Roxy', which was completely refurbished and pre-let to O2 Academy, the UK's top live music venue.

Together with Odeon cinema the O2 Academy and the 700 space NCP Car Park formed an investment sale package to an overseas investor.

Edgbaston Mill

Birmingham


 

Cordwell beat strong competition and were selected by Calthorpe Estates for their development consultancy expertise. This major mixed use commercial / leisure / residential scheme is opposite the world famous international cricket venue at Edgbaston.

The scheme includes 322 apartments, completed and pre sold by Redrow Homes, an Aldi food store and a further commercial phase which will include a 200 Hotel, cafes, bars, restaurants, retail and other leisure opportunities.
