Cordwell in association with Eastleigh Borough Council assembled a major frontage site opposite the railway station and close to Southampton International Airport.

The development, which was completed in April 2012 consists of a 60 bed Travelodge Hotel and 5,200 sq ft of retail space and was completed on time and within budget.

The design of the hotel included a green, sustainable flat roof and rain water harvesting.


Hampton By Hilton


​Cordwell Property were selected to develop this City Centre hotel on the site of the former Fox Hotel.

Cordwell have received planning consent to  transform this part of the City to create a 133 bed hotel and quality ground floor retail / restaurant space.


The development will become a major landmark building in the City Centre which was highly commended by CABE during the planning process.



Edgbaston Mill


Cordwell beat strong competition and were selected by Calthorpe Estates for their development consultancy expertise. This major mixed use commercial / leisure / residential scheme is opposite the world famous international cricket venue at Edgbaston.

The scheme includes a 200 bed hotel, cafes, bars and restaurants plus 322 apartments, completed and pre sold by Redrow Homes and an Aldi food store.


Red Lion Hotel


Cordwell converted this historical building in the centre of Colchester in the 1990's as part of a speciality shopping centre known as Red Lion Yard.

The Red Lion Hotel, currently operated by Brook Hotels, is a small boutique hotel, bar and restaurant with conference and meeting facilities.
